Terms of use (international)

Last updated 2026-08-29

IMPORTANT: Altora Jet is a private aviation charter broker, intermediary, marketplace and technology platform. Altora Jet is not an aircraft operator and does not exercise operational control over any aircraft. Flights are operated by independent, properly licensed air carriers. These Terms are for visitors and clients outside the United States — if you are a United States resident, see our Terms of use (United States) instead.

1. About Altora Jet

Altora Jet means Altora Jet LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Altora Jet provides private aviation charter brokerage, sourcing, marketplace, technology, payment-facilitation and trip-coordination services through www.altorajet.com, its applications and related communications channels.

Altora Jet does not own, operate, maintain, crew or exercise operational control over any aircraft. All air transportation is performed by independent third-party air carriers or operators holding the licenses, approvals and authority required for the relevant operation. The operating carrier remains responsible for operational control, aircraft airworthiness, crew, safety and performance of the flight.

2. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of the Platform and Altora Jet's brokerage, arrangement and related services. By creating an account, submitting a charter request, accepting an offer, signing booking documentation, making payment or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. Mandatory rights available to consumers under the law of their country of habitual residence are not waived where they cannot lawfully be waived.

3. Key Definitions

"Operator" or "Carrier" means the independent air carrier or operator that has operational control of the aircraft and performs the flight. "Charterer" means the person or entity purchasing or arranging the charter. "Charter Request" means a request for aircraft charter or related services. "Quotation" means a price indication or offer presented through Altora Jet. "Booking Confirmation" means Altora Jet's written confirmation that a specific booking has been accepted and the required commercial conditions have been satisfied. "Platform" means www.altorajet.com, Altora Jet's applications and related communications channels. "Services" means Altora Jet's brokerage, sourcing, marketplace, technology, payment-facilitation, communication and trip-coordination services.

4. Role of Altora Jet

Altora Jet acts as a commercial intermediary that sources and arranges private aviation services from independent operators. Altora Jet may present quotations, negotiate commercial terms, coordinate bookings, collect payment, remit amounts to operators or suppliers, facilitate documents and communications, and provide concierge or trip-support services.

Altora Jet does not become the operator of an aircraft because it arranges a flight, presents an aircraft, collects funds or communicates with passengers. Operational decisions remain exclusively with the operator.

5. Requests, Quotations and Availability

All requests must be genuine and accurate. Quotations remain subject to aircraft and crew availability, operator approval, permits, slots, weather, operational restrictions, payment and any stated validity period. Altora Jet may withdraw or amend an unaccepted quotation where availability or supplier pricing changes.

Aircraft photographs, cabin layouts, tail numbers, amenities, manufacture/refurbishment years and other listing details may be illustrative unless expressly confirmed as binding. Substitutions may be proposed where reasonably necessary and will be subject to applicable contractual and consumer rights.

6. Booking and Air Carriage

Your acceptance may create an agreement with Altora Jet for brokerage or arrangement services and may also create or incorporate a contract of carriage with the operating carrier. The structure will be identified in the applicable booking documents.

Regardless of payment flow, only the operating carrier performs the air transportation. Altora Jet does not assume operational control or carrier obligations merely because it receives payment or coordinates the booking.

7. Prices and Additional Costs

The quoted price will describe what is included. Costs outside the confirmed scope may be added where permitted by law and contract, including de-icing, special airport or handling charges, parking/hangar charges, extraordinary fuel, permits, slots, ground transport, catering upgrades, Wi-Fi, security, crew accommodation, itinerary changes, pet cleaning and other passenger-requested services.

Any taxes, duties, exchange-rate effects, card fees or bank charges will be handled as stated in the booking documents and as permitted by applicable law.

8. Payments and Confirmation

Altora Jet or its payment providers may collect funds and remit relevant amounts to operators or service providers. A payment request or card authorization does not itself guarantee a booking. A flight is confirmed only when the applicable conditions are met and confirmation is issued.

You must pay amounts when due and use payment methods you are authorized to use. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may lead to suspension, collection action or cancellation, without limiting non-waivable payment rights.

9. Cancellations, Schedule Changes and Refunds

Cancellation and refund rights depend on the applicable quotation, booking confirmation, operator conditions and mandatory law. Operator cancellation, aircraft substitution, schedule change, force majeure or regulatory action may affect the available remedies. Where mandatory consumer law grants a cancellation or refund right, that right prevails over inconsistent contractual wording.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, statutory withdrawal ("cooling-off") rights for distance contracts generally do not apply to contracts for passenger transport or to leisure services to be performed on a specific date or within a specific period, as provided by Directive 2011/83/EU and equivalent national or UK legislation. This does not affect any cancellation rights stated in your booking documents or granted by mandatory law.

10. Passenger Documentation and Conduct

You are responsible for accurate passenger information and for passports, visas, immigration permissions, customs, health documentation and other travel requirements. You must disclose special assistance, pets, unusual baggage, medical equipment or other operationally relevant requirements sufficiently in advance. Passengers must comply with the lawful instructions, safety rules and carriage conditions of the operating carrier and applicable authorities.

11. Accounts, Security and Acceptable Use

Users must be at least 18 and legally capable of contracting. Business users warrant authority to bind the represented entity. You are responsible for securing your credentials and all authorized activity through your account. Data scraping, circumvention of technical controls, fraudulent requests, impersonation, harassment, reverse engineering, unauthorized copying of operator or pricing data, unlawful sanctions evasion and misuse of the Platform are prohibited.

12. Compliance and Sanctions

Altora Jet may perform identity, sanctions, fraud or source-of-funds checks where appropriate. We may refuse or stop a transaction where reasonably necessary to comply with law, prevent fraud, protect safety or avoid prohibited dealings, subject to mandatory consumer rights.

13. Non-Circumvention and Confidentiality

Introductions, operator identities, client identities, negotiated pricing, contact details and commercial information obtained through Altora Jet may be protected by separate non-circumvention, confidentiality or provider terms. Users must not intentionally misuse such information to bypass agreed fees or improperly divert a transaction. Documented pre-existing relationships and mandatory legal rights are not restricted beyond what applicable law allows.

14. Intellectual Property

Altora Jet and its licensors retain all rights in the Platform, software, databases, workflows, trademarks, designs and original content. You receive only a limited, revocable and non-transferable right to use the Platform for its intended purpose.

15. Third-Party Providers

Independent operators, payment companies, handling agents, caterers, ground transport providers, hotels, technology vendors and other third parties may provide parts of a trip or Platform functionality. Their acts, services and terms are separate from Altora Jet except where Altora Jet expressly assumes responsibility or applicable law provides otherwise.

16. Service Availability and Force Majeure

Altora Jet does not guarantee uninterrupted Platform availability. Neither party will be responsible for failure caused by events beyond reasonable control to the extent permitted by law, including severe weather, airspace closure, governmental action, war, civil disturbance, epidemic, strike, infrastructure failure, cyber incident, airport closure or similar event.

17. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altora Jet is not responsible for loss arising from the operational performance of a flight by an independent carrier, including operational delay, diversion, cancellation, maintenance, crew or aircraft issues, except to the extent caused by Altora Jet's own legally actionable conduct. Altora Jet excludes indirect, special, incidental, punitive and consequential losses and loss of profits, business, opportunity or reputation to the extent lawful.

Nothing excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to mandatory law, Altora Jet's aggregate liability for its own brokerage, platform or arrangement services will not exceed the greater of the brokerage/service fees retained by Altora Jet for the transaction giving rise to the claim (excluding pass-through amounts) and USD 10,000 or the equivalent in local currency.

18. Indemnification

Where permitted by law, you will indemnify Altora Jet and its affiliates against third-party claims, fines, losses and reasonable legal costs caused by your fraud, unlawful instructions, material breach, inaccurate information or infringement of third-party rights.

19. Privacy and Electronic Communications

Personal information is handled under the Altora Jet Privacy Policy. Service communications may be sent electronically. Marketing will be sent only where permitted and can be opted out of without stopping essential booking or security messages.

20. Suspension and Termination

Altora Jet may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for breach, non-payment, fraud risk, security, legal compliance or discontinuation of the Services. Accrued rights and provisions intended to survive will remain effective.

21. Changes

Altora Jet may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email, through the Platform or by another reasonable method, and, where required by law, with reasonable advance notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you should stop using the Services before that date. Changes do not retroactively rewrite a completed booking unless required by law or agreed by the parties.

22. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. However, if you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections that apply under the law of your habitual residence.

Before litigation, the parties should attempt good-faith resolution. Unless mandatory consumer law grants you another forum, disputes not resolved informally may be brought in the courts with jurisdiction in Wyoming. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent interim or injunctive relief where appropriate.

23. General

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains effective and the provision will be limited to the maximum lawful extent. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. Altora Jet may assign these Terms in connection with a corporate reorganization, financing, merger or sale. The English version controls to the extent permitted by law if a translation differs.

If there is a conflict between the documents forming your agreement, the following order of precedence applies unless expressly agreed otherwise: (1) a signed charter or booking agreement; (2) the Booking Confirmation; (3) the applicable quotation; and (4) these Terms.
